The TMG-SSG25 Skid Steer Stump Grinder is designed for effortless stump removal. This grinder lets you remove tree stumps quickly, simply, and efficiently using your skid steer's hydraulic power.

Just reverse your skid steer to activate the grinder—all hydraulic power drives the cutting wheel directly for maximum effectiveness. With 34 replaceable carbide steel teeth spinning at 830-1060 RPM, it effortlessly cuts up to 7” below ground to prevent regrowth.

The low-profile design ensures clear visibility from your cab, while a built-in safety deflector shields against debris, doubling as a convenient kickstand when not in use. Perfect for all sorts of applications commercially, on your farm, or otherwise wooded property.

Awesome!

One of the best things about the TMG stump grinder...read moreOne of the best things about the TMG stump grinder is how easy it is to see what you're doing from the cab. The low profile design really improves visibility, which means less guesswork and faster grinding. I've run other grinders where you're basically blind once you drop down...not with this one.

Clean finish after grinding

One thing that impressed me with the TMG stump grinder...read moreOne thing that impressed me with the TMG stump grinder is how flat and clean it leaves the ground after cutting. I've used grinders before that leave a torn-up mess, but this one really mulches down nicely. The low profile setup makes a huge difference for precision work too. I've finished several small residential jobs already and had happy customers each time.

After the first few stumps, I could already tell it's built tough. Having 34 carbide teeth spinning that fast makes a difference when you're doing dozens of stumps a day.

Strong performance

Maintenance has been easy so far with the TMG stump...read moreMaintenance has been easy so far with the TMG stump grinder...just a few grease points and a quick bolt check every few jobs. It's powerful enough for mid-sized hardwood stumps and keeps a steady RPM under load. Plus, the mesh guard has saved me from flying chips more than once. Would buy again for sure.

I've used the SSG25 to grind down hickory and walnut...read moreI've used the SSG25 to grind down hickory and walnut stumps without any issue. It's aggressive enough to get stumps down 7 inches below grade, which really helps prevent regrowth. It's quick to mount up to the skid steer, and the carbide teeth show almost no wear after several jobs. Very impressed with the durability so far!

We bought the TMG Industrial stump grinder to clean up...read moreWe bought the TMG Industrial stump grinder to clean up old orchard rows and abandoned fence lines. It cut through everything from softwood stumps to gnarly old roots. No major wear on the 24 rotor after a couple months of regular use. It's a simple, heavy duty machine that does what it's supposed to.
